Sorting Robotics Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager/Senior Account Executive to join our team. As a Sales Manager/Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing key accounts for our robotic innovations in the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events.
  • Manage sales and relationships in the western territory of: Alaska, Oregon, Washington, California

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is a must.
  • Ability to use cloud based platforms such as Notion, Airtable, Slack, CRM, and be able to learn new systems quickly
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Agriculture or related field required.
  • Cultivation, Greenhouse, Extraction, or other cannabis equipment sales experience is a big plus!
  • Experience using and maintaining a CRM software solution
  • Able to travel 30% of the time
  • All employees are required to have had a minimum of 2 doses of the Covid-19-SARS-2 vaccine with proof of vaccination. Masks and gloves are available for all employees at no cost.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
