What you'll do

  • Inventory Governance & Accuracy:Lead cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and validate results daily to improve inventory accuracy and support month-end close. Success means maintaining high inventory accuracy, reducing discrepancies, and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Process Standardization & Controls:Establish and document standardized inventory processes, SOPs, workflows, and internal controls to support SAP transition readiness and sustainable inventory management maturity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to improve inventory visibility, compliance, and process discipline.
  • Inventory Analysis & Continuous Improvement:Analyze variances, adjustments, and consumption trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions that reduce inventory risk and improve efficiency.
  • Warehouse & Team Leadership:Manage and develop a team of approximately 10 employees, consolidating warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions under one leadership structure. Success includes effective team management and operational consolidation.
  • Travel Requirements:Minimal to no travel expected; primary focus is onsite leadership and operational management.
  • Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you'll bring

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and inventory management, including cycle counting and finished goods management.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in inventory reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with process discipline, documentation of SOPs, and internal controls.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems, including experience supporting ERP transitions or implementations.
  • Change management capabilities to lead organizational transitions effectively.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across multiple departments.
