Job description

RPA Lead Developer - UiPath
Location: Dayton, OH
Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
About the role
As an RPA Lead Developer - UiPath, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end automation delivery and guiding development teams to build scalable, high-quality RPA solutions. You will be a valued member of the Automation Delivery team and work collaboratively with Architects, SMEs, and business process owners.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead RPA solution design using UiPath, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and SDLC/Agile processes, while reviewing designs and enforcing coding standards across delivery iterations.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation and collaborate with Architects and SMEs to support requirement assessments, provide effort estimates, and guide development teams.
  • Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate new automation capabilities, and partner with process owners to identify opportunities and build the business case for automation initiatives.
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, and SIT test cases; coordinate UAT with business users and support defect resolution through to closure.
  • Integrate NLP, OCR, and AI/GenAI capabilities within RPA solutions and contribute to opportunity assessments that recommend the right automation approach.

What you need to have to be considered
  • 7+ years of hands-on RPA/automation development experience, with a strong track record of designing and building complex, enterprise-grade automations leveraging the latest UiPath capabilities - including Agentic Automation, Intelligent Automation Platform (IXP), Communications Mining, Document Understanding, UiPath Apps, and Action Center.
  • Proficient across core UiPath components including Studio, Orchestrator, RE Framework, Queues, Triggers, Assets, Exception Handling, Storage Buckets, and Cloud Orchestrator.
  • Strong programming background in .NET, VB, C++, or similar Microsoft technologies, with the ability to write SQL queries and DML statements.
  • Skilled in conducting RPA opportunity assessments and integrating AI/ML capabilities - including NLP, OCR, and intelligent automation - into end-to-end RPA workflows.

These will help you stand out
  • UiPath certification in any of the following: Agentic Automation Professional, Specialized AI Professional and Automation Developer Professional, Automation Solution Architect Professional
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business case development and presenting proof of value for automation initiatives.
