Job description

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Parts Shuttle Truck Driver to join its team at. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering construction equipment parts and attachments to various RMS locations. This is an afternoon position with approximate working hours of 4:00pm - 12:00am, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

    • Load up and drop parts/attachments at the designated stores and drop box locations nightly.
    • Pick up parts/attachments at the other locations for return delivery to other locations.
    • Work safely, responsibly, within company policies, and FMCSA rules for commercial drivers.
    • Keep truck and work area clean.

Qualifications/Skills:

      • Must have a class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
      • Ability to hook up, load, and pull a trailer while driving a one-ton pick- up truck.
      • Must be able to secure loads properly and safely.
      • Safely operate a forklift.
      • Lifting requirement of up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
      • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
      • Have the desire to take pride and ownership in the position.
      • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
      • Be dependable, as others are counting on you to move the goods that keep our customer’s equipment running.
