Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, documenting accurately in the medical record.
  • Assess and monitor residents, reporting changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.
  • Perform wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures within scope of practice.
  • Provide oversight and direction to CNAs and nursing assistants during assigned shift.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and discharge preparation.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered LPN licence in New Mexico — required.
  • Active NM Caregivers Registry account required — must have account prior to placement.
  • Minimum 1 year of LTC/SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
