LilyCare Hospice is seeking a per-visit Hospice Registered Nurse PRN to care for patients across your assigned New Mexico territory.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As a Hospice Registered Nurse PRN, conduct skilled nursing visits in patients' homes and facilities, assessing symptoms, pain, and comfort needs

  • Develop, implement, and revise the plan of care with the interdisciplinary group and attending physician

  • Administer medications and provide expert pain and symptom management for patients at end of life

  • Educate and emotionally support patients and families throughout the hospice journey

  • Document every visit accurately and on time in the electronic health record, meeting visit and regulatory requirements

Compensation and Schedule

  • $40–$65 per hour, paid per visit; rate based on experience

  • PRN / per diem — flexible, as-needed scheduling across your New Mexico territory

  • Field-based role serving patients in home and facility settings

Skills and Qualifications

  • The ideal Hospice Registered Nurse PRN holds an active New Mexico RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted)

  • Current AHA BLS/CPR certification

  • One year of RN experience; hospice or home care experience strongly preferred

  • Valid NM driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for patient visits

  • Strong assessment, end-of-life symptom management, and EHR documentation skills
