Job description

Position: Level 4 RN – Operating Room (Contract)
Location: NY 14642
Pay: $2,070 – $2,322/week

Contract Duration:

  • 05/25/2026 – 08/22/2026 (13 weeks)

Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night)

  • On-call & callback required

  • Floating, weekends, and holidays per unit needs


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Provide circulating and scrub RN duties in OR setting

  • Support surgical services: ortho, general, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ENT, GYN, thoracic, trauma, ophthalmic, OMFS

  • Assist with complex cases including transplants (liver, kidney, heart) and robotics (DaVinci systems)

  • Monitor telemetry and patient status during perioperative care

  • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams in Level 1 trauma environment

  • Ensure adherence to sterile technique, safety, and OR protocols

  • Participate in emergency and high-acuity surgical cases


Requirements
  • Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)

  • BLS Certification (AHA only)

  • ACLS preferred

  • Minimum 2 years OR experience (Level 1 trauma preferred)

  • Ability to scrub and circulate required

  • Telemetry experience required

  • Strong orthopedic and complex surgical experience preferred

  • Comfortable in high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment
