Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $6,000
Night & Weekend Shift Differentials Available
Position Purpose
The Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN) plays a critical role indelivering high-quality, compassionate care in a calm overnight environment.This position provides hands-on nursing care, supports resident safety andcomfort, and collaborates with the care team to ensure continuity of carethroughout the night.
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide total nursing care to residents on the assignedunit during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments according tophysician orders and nursing standards
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and companyregulations
• Communicate care plans, procedures, and treatments clearlyto residents and families
• Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders
• Document care and resident responses thoroughly and timely
• Give and receive detailed shift reports to ensurecontinuity of care
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident comfort,safety, and condition
• Supervise and support CNAs, ensuring accurate dailydocumentation
• Coordinate care with therapists to support 24-hourrehabilitation needs
• Record diet changes and communicate updates to the DietaryDepartment
• Participate in quality improvement activities,in-services, and staff meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program
• Active RN/LPN state license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (or equivalent)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizationalskills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to professionalism and compassionate care
Reports To: Director of Nursing
Shift Differentials
• Weekday Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM): +$1.50/hr
• Weekend Days (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM): +$2.50/hr
• Weekend Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM): +$4.00/hr
