Clinical Nurse Manager - CNM
Location: North Central New Mexico
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Range: Competitive pay, based on experience and qualifications.

Clinical Nurse Manager Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee clinical nursing services in Behavioral Health Services, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Medical Staff leadership to develop, implement, and maintain clinical and educational programs.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, staff participation, and professional development through shared governance models.
  • Manage human, financial, material, and informational resources effectively to ensure cost-effective patient care.
  • Participate in recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Monitor staff compliance with licensing, credentialing, certifications, orientation, and ongoing education requirements.
  • Support continuous quality improvement by implementing evidence-based initiatives and monitoring clinical performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient care and address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, TJC standards, and state licensure requirements.
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary meetings, process improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their rights, satisfaction, and safety are prioritized.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current R.N. license in New Mexico or Compact license.
  • BLS certification required; national certification in area of expertise preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health services.
  • At least 2 years of progressive management experience.
  • Strong clinical skills, leadership, and ability to facilitate interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and human resource planning.
