Job description

Medical Assistant RMA/CMA or CPCT

Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Patient Care Technician for a full-time position on our team of professional clinicians. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform and prepare patients for their appointment. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 7:30am - 4:00pm OR 8:00am - 4:30pm. Weekend and holiday rotation will be required.

Location: Based in Bryn Mawr, with occasional travel to: Havertown, West Chester, Wyomissing, Philadelphia - Arch St. or Fort Washington. Reliable transportation a must!

Job Duties include:

  • Assisting physicians with patient care
  • Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomy
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms as needed and ensure they are fully stocked for patient care
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Perform and assist with general administrative tasks such as contacting/scheduling patients
  • Document patient care and maintain electronic patient records in compliance with all regulations and policies ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner

Skills & Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant diploma and certification - CMA/ RMA, or Certified Patient Care Technician REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Phlebotomy experience required - certification preferred
  • 2 years of healthcare experience required
  • Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records
  • Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements
