ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrates Core Values: Promotes company core values of teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to success; ensures alignment between field operations and company goals.
  • Field Operations Leadership: Oversees field operations across all commercial projects; drives consistency in execution, monitors productivity, and removes obstacles impacting performance.
  • Leadership & Accountability: Leads and develops superintendents, foremen, and field teams; conducts regular performance reviews focused on safety, quality, schedule, and production.
  • Manpower & Workforce Planning: Forecasts labor needs, coordinates manpower across projects, and ensures efficient workforce utilization; implements recovery plans for underperforming projects.
  • Scheduling & Production: Reviews construction schedules, aligns field execution with milestones, and supports look-ahead planning and productivity tracking.
  • Safety & Compliance: Reinforces safety culture, ensures OSHA compliance, performs jobsite audits, and participates in incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Project Coordination: Partners with Project Management and General Superintendents to coordinate labor, procurement, fabrication, and material delivery; aligns field execution with office priorities and resolves conflicts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures installations meet drawings, specifications, and code requirements; conducts inspections and reduces rework through standardization and planning.
  • Financial & Operational Performance: Tracks labor productivity, improves efficiency, reduces waste, and supports accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Client & Communication: Maintains professional relationships with general contractors, owners, and stakeholders; represents the company in meetings and field coordination.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Ensures accurate field reporting, supports KPI tracking, and drives operational improvement across projects.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required; a valid Journeyman Plumber License is a plus.
  • Experience & Longevity: Extensive commercial plumbing field experience with proven success leading multiple projects and teams.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of field operations, labor productivity, scheduling, and construction practices.
  • Leadership and Accountability: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop personnel, and drive performance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation abilities; effective in negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Decision Making & Problem Solving: Demonstrates strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Ability to coordinate across departments and build alignment between field and office.
