Job description

Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Helena

Position Overview: A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team involved in the operation of a transitional 24-hour group home facility.

Job Duties:

  1. Acts as lead-worker in group home and completes requisition and claim forms, work orders, and collects monthly rent.
  2. The lead is the first point of contact for assisting group home workers.
  3. Assist group homes
  4. workers with clients or group home needs.
  5. Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each clientโ€™s individual treatment plans.
  6. Maintain employee work schedule according to staffing limitations.
  7. Develops/maintains daily schedule for staffing group home shifts.
  8. Provide on-call services and respond to group home needs.
  9. Assists Operations Manager with ensuring monthly summaries and weekly census are completed.
  10. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of clients and employees.
  11. Assists clients in problems relating to daily living activities.
  12. Performs crisis intervention.
  13. Assists psychiatric nurse in medication monitoring for transitional home clients.
  14. Must complete and pass medication training test within initial probation period.
  15. Assists with distributing prescribed medications.
  16. Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients in accordance with Many Rivers policy.
  17. Coordinates socialization and recreational activities for clients.
  18. Assists with transporting clients to Day Treatment Monday through Friday and participates in Day Treatment activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Completion of high school or equivalency is required.
  2. One to two years of group home experience required.
  3. Previous experience serving persons with a mental health illness required.
  4. MT Driverโ€™s License, valid vehicle insurance, and vehicle required.
  5. Must be able to transport clients.

Wage: $19.80 per hour
