Interventional Cardiologist Needed Near Witch Lake, MI

A well established practice is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join their growing team. The Heart and Vascular team includes a thriving group of employed cardiologists and midlevels, who enjoy a productive, collegial relationship. The practice is privileged to perform between open heart surgeries annually and has the only Michigan Certificate of Need bypass program and comprehensive Cath labs in the region 4th in the Nation. The facility is the 1st and only hospital in the state of Michigan to earn the prestigious ACC Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI. The Cardiovascular Surgery Center in the hospitals brand new state-of-the art facility, rivals any. Recently recognized in Beckers for having the 2nd lowest heart attack readmission rate in the United States, the facility has also achieved Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. This position also includes an academic component in conjunction with Michigan State University, at their on-site rural campus medical school and family medicine residency program.
