Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Rising Ground Wellness Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various issues, including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with other mental health professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies that foster client well-being.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and remain current with industry best practices.
    • Patient Population / Client Focus

      Your patient population will encompass diverse individuals and families experiencing a range of challenges. You will work primarily with couples and families facing issues such as separation and divorce, blended family dynamics, job-related stress, and interpersonal conflicts including mother-daughter disputes.       Qualifications

      To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

      • Possess an active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
      • Hold a Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
