Position Overview

Rising Ground Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, focusing on crisis intervention strategies, medication management, and behavioral guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools facilitated by the clinical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliant operations and high standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and local community partners to optimize resource utilization for clients.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community organizations, agencies, and potential funding sources to expand program capabilities and impact.
• Engage in personal and professional development through attending conferences, participating in statewide meetings, and representing the agency in various forums.
• Promote the mission, values, and principles of Rising Ground Wellness Center in all interactions and community settings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rising Ground Wellness Center, you will provide services to a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes individuals struggling with emotional distress, substance use issues, behavioral problems, and specific needs related to developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Your work will be instrumental in creating pathways for recovery, fostering resilience, and promoting mental wellness within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in clinical assessment and the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
