Job description

The Lead CNA is responsible for providing on-call care for BrightStar Care and Staffing as needed during assigned schedule. The CNA will be expected to go to all assigned shifts in any location within Brightstar Care of Marietta and Cherokee territory, including the BrightStar Office. The Lead CNA will be responsible for welcoming and training all new hires and meeting with all new clients when available.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Be prepared to leave to respond to a call within 15 mins notice during your scheduled hours. We will try to schedule shifts as far out as possible. The following must be in order:

  • Dressed. Groomed and ready to go in Uniform with ID Badge
  • Phone charged and ringer on
  • Transportation available for use
  • Demonstrate our Core Values:
    1. Exude Positive Energy
    2. Display Professionalism
    3. Go Above and Beyond
  • BrightStar Office staffing as needed
  • Welcoming all new hires and checking for training needs that they may require. Responding to the office with feedback upon meeting with New Hire.
  • Assessing all new clients and giving feedback to the Lead CCM as to directions for the client and caregiver

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification
  • Current AHA or Red Cross BLS
  • Reliable transportation and automobile insurance
  • Must have all credentials up to date on file
  • All forms in Workbright must be up to date
  • CNA In the knows (12 Quizzes) updated on a yearly basis as required by Joint Commission and State

Physical Requirements - Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to life up to 50 pounds
