Essential Job Functions and Major Tasks
- Assemble both exterior and interior parts of the Mount Assembly's
- Transport product to the proper stocking location
- Package completed components to prepare for shipment
- Must be able to work in a small group setting and independently to complete required workload
- Operate power tools and basic hand tools
- Other job duties as assigned
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Constant standing on concrete floor
- Continuous lifting and carrying of parts under 10 pounds
- Continuous fine finger movement with assembly and placing small parts together
- Frequent carrying of parts 11-20 pounds
- Frequent lifting of parts 11-50 pounds
- Frequent walking
- Frequent pushing of carts
- Frequent bending with occasional crouching while gathering parts or tools
- Occasional carrying of product 20 - 50 pounds
- Occasional lifting of 50 - 75 pounds, team lift is encouraged.
- Occasional forklift operation
- Hot and humid environment in the summer
- Fast-paced environment with deadline pressures
- PPE: Safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves
Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Overhead crane, forklift and material handling experience preferred
- Manufacturing assembly experience desired
- Good communication skills required
- Some blueprint reading skills preferred
- Ability to read manufacturing documentation
- Good math skills required
- Ability to efficiently read a tape measure
