Project ManagerIntroduction:

This role of a Project Manager involves overseeing and managing various aspects of projects within an engineering-based client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Operation Technology and Plant Network, rather than IT operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Proven delivery of global, multi-site security or infrastructure rollouts (10+ sites, multiple regions)
  • PMP or equivalent; strong stage-gate and RFP/procurement process experience
  • Vendor and integrator management: contract negotiation support, SLA enforcement, multi-vendor coordination
  • Budgeting and TCO management across capex/opex (SaaS subscriptions, hardware, integrator labor)
  • Manufacturing/chemical site experience: safety permitting, contractor safety programs, working around plant turnarounds
  • Stakeholder management across security, IT, HR, EHS, plant managers, and works councils/unions in international regions
  • Risk and change management: cutover planning, badge migration, minimizing plant disruption
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven projects (CFATS, ISO 27001) and audit evidence requirements
  • Cross-cultural/global team leadership across time zones; travel availability
  • Strong reporting discipline: executive steering-committee updates, KPI tracking, milestone/dependency management
