This position is based onsite within a hospital facility in Falls Church, Virginia. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and facilities, creating a supportive environment where therapists and patients can interact closely. You will work alongside a variety of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical staff, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the execution of customized treatment plans aimed at orthopedic rehabilitation and mobility restoration, following therapist instructions and protocols.

• Deliver direct patient care through hands-on therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional movement training designed to enhance performance.

• Monitor patients during therapy sessions, documenting their progress accurately and reporting any significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist as necessary.

• Educate patients about injury prevention, teach proper movement mechanics, and establish home exercise programs that reinforce skills learned during therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss patient care and ensure all members are working effectively towards shared recovery goals.

• Maintain detailed and precise patient records, adhering strictly to clinic standards and compliance requirements to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages, from young athletes recovering from injuries to older adults seeking rehabilitation solutions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their journey to recovery and improved physical function.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia, in good standing.

• At least two years of experience, preferably in orthopedic outpatient or musculoskeletal rehabilitation settings, is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care are essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

• Prior experience in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly preferred, with familiarity in using a variety of rehabilitation equipment and technology.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management is an advantage.

This full-time PTA position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $85,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide:
