About the Role

Join our team and play a hands-on role in bringing structures to life—from early design calculations to on-site observation. You’ll work alongside experienced Structural Engineers, leveraging tools like Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and industry-leading analysis software to design and model a wide range of building systems. Responsibilities

  • General knowledge of the principles and practices of structural/civil engineering and architecture.
  • Experience in Revit
  • Understands and possesses a general knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Experience with and knowledge of structural design software including frame analysis software (RISA 3D, RAM Structural System, etc.).
  • Perform routine aspects of structural engineering assignments under the supervision of the Structural Engineer.
  • Using Autodesk Revit to prepare models for building structures and structural components.
  • Assist in preparation of design calculations for building and non-building structures using different structural systems and materials.
  • Participate in peer review process including review of designs and calculations prepared by the Structural Engineer.
  • Review submittals supplied by vendors, clients, engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Research building codes and prepare construction documents.
  • Perform onsite construction observation and observation reports.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors in Structural Engineering or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $72,000 - $80,000
