Electrical Engineer (P.E.) - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00273 Salary Range: $75,000 – $120,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits Benefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Paid Time Off. A Cleveland, Ohio area engineering firm that is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to join their growing pre-construction team. This is a pivotal role where you will bridge the gap between initial concept and construction-ready reality.

You will be responsible for designing robust electrical systems for large-scale commercial projects, ensuring they are cost-effective, code-compliant, and optimized for field installation. Key Responsibilities Electrical System Design: Lead the design of electrical power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for diverse commercial and healthcare projects. Pre-Construction Collaboration: Work closely with estimators and project managers to provide constructability reviews, value engineering, and accurate budget forecasting.

BIM/Revit Integration: Develop detailed 3D models and construction documents using Revit to ensure seamless coordination with other trades. Code Compliance: Ensure all designs meet NEC, local building codes, and client-specific standards. Project Leadership: Provide technical guidance during the pre-con phase and serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for stamped drawings where required.

Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution. Licensure: Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design specifically tailored to commercial pre-construction environments.

Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD. Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and field personnel. Preferred Skills Experience working within a multi-discipline engineering environment (interacting with Mechanical, Structural, and Civil teams).

Familiarity with Arc Flash studies and coordination software (e.g., SKM or ETAP). A background in design-build project delivery. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
