Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Performing quality inspections by following Iverson's process in any language and for any of the following steps:
-Review of the work done by translators and editors (language review)
-Review of the work done by formatters (formatting check)
-Review of the final deliverables (final review)
• Determining whether projects are non-conforming products
• Detailing questions to investigate with a linguist
• Managing own task load and schedule
• Asking for clarifications
Qualifications
• Bachelors or equivalent
• Ability to provide consistent high-quality work while meeting deadlines
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adhere to and abide by the customer's and company's quality standards
• Ability to learn from feedback
• Ability to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of one language
• Experience working on a PC
• Experience with MS Word and its track changes feature
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat commenting feature
• Experience working with fonts a plus
