About the Opportunity 

The Consultant Intern will work with the Clinton Policy Institute ("CPI") teams to support efforts across its four policy pillars: health, child safety and wellbeing, economic security, and democratic resilience and civic engagement. The intern will contribute to various functions including conducting policy research, supporting written deliverables, implementing operational workflows, providing administrative support, and assisting with event content and logistics. Strong candidates will be proactive, eager to raise their hand when help is needed, and continuously look for opportunities to add value to the team. 

This opportunity is unpaid, and would require proof of academic credit for your time. This role would be based out of our 41 Madison Avenue (NYC) office on a hybrid schedule. Interns would be asked to commit to working anywhere from 25 - 29 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time), depending on their academic credit requirements. The suggested internship period is September 9 through November 13, 2026 though we are flexible and can adjust the dates based on your academic program's needs.

Core Responsibilities  

Project Management Support (Approx. 75% of Time) 

  • Support the Institute's policy development efforts by monitoring developments in areas of focus and by regularly drafting policy memos and briefings related to health, child safety and wellbeing, economic security, and democratic resilience and civic engagement
  • Assist with the organization of documents, folders, and spreadsheets to keep program materials clear and accessible
  • Support in the monitoring of project deadlines, milestones and deliverables for various projects

Event Operations Logistics & General Support (Approx. 25% of Time)

  • Support with tasks related to in-person and virtual convenings as needed 
  • Attend brainstorming sessions and events as scheduled and assigned
  • Support in the review and refinement of event collateral, as well as day-of logistics 

Team Integration and Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with team members and manager to set clear goals and periodically discuss progress against those goals 
  • Comply with Clinton Foundation policies and procedures as presented to intern

Compensation & Benefits 

This is an unpaid internship in which the intern will receive academic credit for their service. It is not a benefits eligible position.
