Job description

The Bank Compliance and Loan Review Department of Anders is seeking an Intern who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This 8-week internship will start in June 2027 and end in late July 2027. The role is in-person in our offices in St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri.
What You'll Do:
  • Participate in reviews of client records to ensure compliance with federal consumer protection and anti-money laundering regulations
  • Participate in reviews of client records to determine whether the client has appropriately identified risk within its loan portfolio
  • Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for client companies
  • Prepare portions of compliance, internal audit, or loan review engagements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher (Graduating May 2028 or earlier)
  • Experience working in a bank or credit union is a plus
  • Minimum 25+ hour work week required
