Position Summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced Regional Revenue Director to lead revenue strategy for a portfolio of branded hotels across multiple markets. This strategic leadership position partners closely with Regional Operations, Sales, General Managers, and Corporate Leadership to maximize revenue performance through pricing optimization, forecasting, inventory management, distribution strategy, and business mix optimization.

The Regional Revenue Director is responsible for driving RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and market share while ensuring revenue strategies aligning with company goals and brand standards. This individual will serve as the revenue management expert for their assigned portfolio, utilizing data analysis, market intelligence, and forecasting to deliver sustainable financial results.

Essential Responsibilities Portfolio Revenue Strategy
  • Develop and execute revenue strategies for an assigned portfolio of Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels.
  • Maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total hotel revenue through strategic pricing and inventory management.
  • Analyze historical trends, market demand, booking pace, and competitive performance to optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Recommend pricing strategies across transient, negotiated, group, wholesale, and OTA business segments.
  • Optimize business mix to ensure long-term profitability.
Forecasting & Financial Planning
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts.
  • Assist hotel leadership with annual budgets and financial planning.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend strategy adjustments based on changing market conditions.
  • Develop action plans to achieve budgeted revenue goals.
Revenue Analytics
  • Monitor key performance indicators including:
    • RevPAR
    • ADR
    • Occupancy
    • RevPAR Index (RGI)
    • Market Penetration Index (MPI)
    • Revenue Generation Index
    • Booking PacePickup Trends
    • Channel Performance
  • Utilize STAR Reports and market intelligence to identify opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Present revenue performance and recommendations during weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
Pricing & Inventory Management
  • Manage hotel inventory and rate strategies across all distribution channels.
  • Oversee pricing decisions for transient, corporate, negotiated, group, wholesale, and promotional business.
  • Evaluate displacement analyses and group pricing opportunities.
  • Optimize restrictions include:
    • Minimum Length of Stay
    • Closed to Arrival
    • Stay Through
    • Yield Controls
  • Ensure effective inventory management during special events and high-demand periods.
Distribution & Channel Management
  • Oversee distribution strategy across:
    • Brand CRS systems
    • GDS
    • Brand websites
    • OTA channels
    • Third-party booking platforms
  • Ensure accurate room types, rate plans, promotions, and availability.
  • Monitor channel production and acquisition costs to maximize profitability.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings with hotel leadership teams.
  • Partner with General Managers and Directors of Sales to develop revenue action plans.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to property leadership on revenue management best practices.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to support company initiatives.
Systems & Reporting
  • Maintain expertise in brand revenue management systems and technology platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity across revenue systems.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools that measure hotel performance.
  • Train hotel teams on revenue management processes and reporting standards.
Travel
  • Travel to assigned hotels, regional meetings, and corporate meetings as needed.
Qualifications Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive hotel revenue management experience.
  • Multi-property revenue management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing Marriott, Hilton, and/or IHG branded hotels.
  • Proven success improving RevPAR Index and overall hotel profitability.
  • Experience leading revenue strategy meetings with executive hotel leadership.
  • Previous regional or area revenue management experience preferred.
