Philadelphia, PA • On-site

Curotec
IT Services • 51 - 200 employees

Full-time

Re-posted 22 days ago

Key responsibilities

  • Design and execute a data-driven demand generation strategy across multiple channels including email, social, search, and paid media.

  • Own website performance, content strategy, and conversion optimization to support pipeline growth.

  • Take ownership of MQL generation, build attribution models, and report on key marketing metrics to drive revenue.

Job description

Note, this is an onsite role, at least 3 days per week(ideally 5), at our Center City Philadelphia office.
About Curotec
Curotec is a rapidly scaling software professional services business, and we're looking for our first marketing hire to own and drive our revenue generation engine. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll build and optimize our entire marketing function from the ground up.
About You
You're a data-driven demand generation professional who thrives on building and scaling marketing engines from the ground up. You understand that successful marketing requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You're comfortable working autonomously, moving quickly, and taking ownership of results. You're excited by the challenge of being the first marketing hire and laying the foundation for a function that will scale 10x in the years ahead.
What We're Looking For
The Non-Negotiables:
  • 5-7 years minimum of B2B SaaS/tech marketing experience where you directly contributed to significant growth
  • Hands-on HubSpot configuration and management expertise
  • Strong writing skills with proven ability to create compelling content
  • Deep experience with UTM tracking, GTM, and attribution
  • Proficiency with SEO, keyword research, and analytics platforms (Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Multi-channel paid media experience (LinkedIn, Google, etc)
  • Track record of hitting demand generation targets with clear articulation of how you achieved them

What Will Set You Apart:
  • You can explain exactly where the pipeline and revenue came from in your previous roles
  • You've been involved in setting demand metrics goals, not just executing against them
  • Direct experience marketing to venture-backed SaaS and enterprise IT
  • You think about content distribution as much as creation
  • You're scrappy and able to get stuff done without dependence on tools or agencies
  • You're experimenting with AI beyond basic ChatGPT usage
  • You come from a scaling startup, not a large enterprise
  • You have experience being the solo marketer or the first marketing hire
  • Background in B2B services (staff augmentation, IT project delivery, software development)

Key Responsibilities
Build Our Demand Generation Engine:
  • Design and execute a scientific, data-driven approach to pipeline generation
  • Launch and optimize campaigns across email, social, search, and paid media
  • Own website performance, content strategy, and conversion optimization
  • Manage SEO/PPC vendor relationships for aligned execution and ROI

Drive Revenue Through Data:
  • Take ownership of MQL generation and quality
  • Build attribution models to understand what's actually driving pipeline
  • Report weekly/monthly on CAC, conversion rates, and channel ROI
  • Partner with sales to ensure seamless handoffs and feedback loops

Scale What Works:
  • Test methodically, learn quickly, scale ruthlessly
  • Build repeatable playbooks based on proven results
  • Identify and double down on high-performing channels (we suspect LinkedIn will be key)
  • Create content strategies that prioritize distribution and results

What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days, you'll have:
  • Audited our current marketing efforts and identified quick wins
  • Launched your first campaigns with clear testing frameworks
  • Established baseline metrics and reporting cadences
  • Built initial demand generation playbooks

Within 6 months, you'll have:
  • Identified our most effective channels and scaled investment
  • Built a predictable pipeline generation engine
  • Established thought leadership presence on key platforms
  • Demonstrated clear ROI on marketing spend

Why This Role Matters
You're not just another marketing hire, you're laying the foundation for how Curotec will grow. You'll report directly to the CEO with full autonomy to execute. This is the first marketing role at Curotec, with the opportunity to build out a team as we scale.
