JOB SUMMARY

The Employee will review and audit revenues from all revenue-producing departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Auditing all paperwork for each revenue producing department at Riverwalk Casino Hotel and Harlow’s Casino Resort and Spa
  • Preparing Daily Revenue Journals
  • Ensuring that adequate supporting documentation exists for all transactions
  • Preparing routine and special reports as assigned
  • Maintaining a tracking system for issued/redeemed slips, coupons, etc. for proper accountability
  • Securing the integrity of all gaming and non-gaming paperwork by filing paperwork quickly and properly as described by your supervisor
  • Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

    • Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming License issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission
    • General knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods
    • General knowledge of standard office procedures, practices and equipment
    • Knowledge of routine accounting principles
    • Ability to maintain complex financial records and to prepare reports and statements
    • Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately
    • Ability to post accounts with speed and accuracy
    • Ability to operate efficiently a variety of office machines
    • Must have good computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Working knowledge of basic and intermediate accounting procedures preferred.
