What is revenue assurance in telecom?

Revenue Assurance in Telecom refers to the set of processes and tools used by telecommunications companies to ensure that all revenue due is accurately captured, billed, and collected. It involves identifying, preventing, and correcting revenue leakage caused by errors in billing, provisioning, or network configuration. Revenue Assurance professionals analyze data, implement controls, and work across departments to minimize financial losses and maximize profitability. Their work is crucial for maintaining accurate financial reporting and ensuring the company’s financial health.
