**This Inventory Returns Specialist position will be located at our headquarters' warehouse in Minneapolis, MN**
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Returns Specialist to manage the processing of inventory returned from customer jobs. This position will be responsible for inspecting and documenting returned materials, updating inventory records, and identifying discrepancies. This role will work closely with multiple departments to ensure inventory is accurately accounted for and available when needed.
Requirements:
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
โ€ข Comfortable working with computers and inventory management systems.
โ€ข Ability to follow detailed teardown, inspection, and repackaging procedures.
โ€ข Strong communication and follow-up skills.
โ€ข Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
โ€ข Background check required.
Key Duties:
โ€ข Receive, inspect, and process inventory returned from customer jobs.
โ€ข Identify and document returned parts, quantities, shortages, incorrect items, and damaged materials.
โ€ข Update the inventory management system to accurately reflect returned inventory and discrepancies.
โ€ข Tear down old assembly units following established procedures.
โ€ข Properly inspect, label, and repackage reusable components for future use.
โ€ข Communicate with Account Managers and Field Engineers to resolve missing, incorrect, or damaged inventory from completed jobs.
โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for site-specific returned inventory needed by the testing team.
โ€ข Maintain an organized returns area.
โ€ข Assist with inventory cycle counts, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
โ€ข Identify recurring return issues and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy.
โ€ข Perform additional tasks and duties that may pertain to the warehouse.
