Gatehouse Security Officer Longboat Key, FL (MondayFriday | 3:00 PM 11:00 PM)

CPI is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team at an exclusive luxury residential community on Longboat Key.

This position is ideal for retired law enforcement officers, military veterans, or experienced security professionals who take pride in providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Schedule

  • Monday Friday
  • 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Control access at the gatehouse and verify all visitors.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic.
  • Greet residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and vendor logs.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity.
  • Conduct routine security checks of the entrance area.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, management, and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Valid Florida Class D Security License (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of security experience preferred.
  • Law enforcement or military experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
