Job description

On Call Boiler Operator
Location: Dayton, NJ
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour DOE

We currently have an outstanding career opportunity with a global leader in the Fragrance and Flavors Industry.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently working full time/retired and is looking to make extra money working a couple of 12 hour shifts a month. Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Duties:

  • Operate boilers, air compressors, chillers, co-generator, water treatment, fire water system and all ancillary equipment and documents
  • Plan, prioritize and coordinate the activities of Utility operation, outside contractors and service providers as required on the off-shift
  • Monitor and troubleshoot utilities through Building Automation and Fire System HMI’s

Requirements:

  • High Pressure Blue Seal Engineers License and toxic blue seal refrigeration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at Blue Seal level and demonstrated proficiency for operating and troubleshooting utility systems including steam, compressed air, refrigeration and co-generation
  • Must be available to be on call for all days of the week including weekends and holiday
