THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Strategy plays a key role in developing strategic content, insights, and executive-ready materials that communicate Ulta Beauty’s Supply Chain strategy. This role supports the development of the long- and medium-term Supply Chain strategic roadmaps by synthesizing industry research, competitive insights, and internal performance data into clear, compelling narratives that inform leadership decision-making.

Through close partnership with Supply Chain Strategy leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Analyst translates complex operational initiatives into visually engaging and easily understood presentations for senior leaders, including Chief-level and Board of Directors communications. The role also contributes to capability modeling and market analysis that help identify future opportunities to strengthen and evolve Ulta Beauty’s best-in-class Supply Chain.

Additionally, this position supports the coordination of key enterprise strategic initiatives, serving as a liaison between Supply Chain and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and clear communication.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Develop strategic content and executive-ready materials that articulate Supply Chain strategy, initiatives, and performance, translating complex operational topics into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership
  • Structure and develop strategic presentations that communicate insights, recommendations, and progress against key Supply Chain initiatives to executive leadership
  • Provide guidance and support to Supply Chain teams in developing clear, impactful presentations, elevating the quality and effectiveness of functional storytelling for leadership audiences
  • Support creation and development of Board of Directors and Chief-level presentations, synthesizing complex initiatives into visually engaging and easy-to-understand executive narratives
  • Support development of the long-term Supply Chain strategic roadmap by identifying emerging capabilities, industry trends, and opportunities to strengthen network performance and guest experience.
  • Support development of long- and medium-term Supply Chain strategic roadmaps through structured analysis, industry research, and capability modeling
  • Conduct market and competitive landscape assessments, synthesizing operational insights and industry trends into strategic recommendations that inform Supply Chain priorities and future capabilities.
  • Support maintaining the Supply Chain capabilities model to ensure Ulta Beauty maintains a best-in-class supply chain
  • Support governance of the Supply Chain strategic portfolio, including initiative tracking, prioritization discussions, and intake of new strategic initiatives
  • Support coordination of key enterprise strategic initiatives, serving as a liaison between Supply Chain and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Support in identifying business challenges and develop strategic, analytical, financial frameworks to analyze
  • Support preparation for key leadership forums including Strategy Reviews and executive planning sessions
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Distribution, Transportation, Merchandise Planning & Operations, Marketing, Digital, Stores, Finance, and Information Technology to gain alignment on the Supply Chain strategy
  • Support the effort to tell the Supply Chain story through crafting PowerPoint presentations and working with key stakeholders across the company to understand the best way to influence others
  • Apply structured problem-solving and strategic frameworks to analyze complex operational challenges and inform leadership decisions
  • Support tracking and reporting across the supply chain initiative and capability portfolio
  • Other duties as assigned

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree from an accredited college with a focus on Strategy, Finance, or Supply Chain Management. (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 years consulting or strategy experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail supply chain, operations management, or strategy consulting (4 years’ experience at a top-tier consulting firm preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong data analysis and storytelling capabilities.
  • Self-starter able to successfully execute against departmental goals with minimal guidance
  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional manner
  • Able to influence and drive accountability among associates across multiple departments
  • Able to manage multiple projects/multiple presentation deadlines at one time
  • Able to develop presentation materials for communicating strategies to key stakeholders
  • Able to work additional hours and weekends during critical project times
  • Strong strategic mindset, with critical reasoning and qualitative analysis experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills with an understanding of financials of each segment of the supply chain.

The pay range for this position is $79,900.00 - $131,700.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
