Job description

Position Summary

The Retail Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational compliance of retail store locations. This role works closely with store teams to ensure operational standards are followed, inventory processes are completed accurately, and audit and maintenance requirements are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with multiple store locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operational compliance across assigned retail stores
  • Communicate with store team members regarding:
    • Receiving and processing inventory shipments
    • Trade-in processing procedures
    • Inventory counts and reconciliation
  • Assist stores in preparing for and passing comparable audits
  • Track and follow up on audit findings and operational issues
  • Support maintenance requests by coordinating with internal teams and vendors
  • Provide operational guidance and support to store teams
  • Conduct store visits as needed for support, training, and issue resolution
  • Escalate recurring or unresolved operational issues to leadership
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to store operations
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, store support, inventory, or compliance (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across different store locations
  • Comfortable working with inventory systems and basic reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel locally to store locations as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting retail audits or inventory counts
  • Background in wireless, telecom, or multi-location retail (a plus)
  • Basic training or coaching experience
Work Environment
  • Combination of office-based work and in-store visits
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support store operations
