The Shopper Marketing Manager for Military, Specialty, and Business Development is tasked with implementing channel strategies outlined by the Senior Manager and executing Red Bull's shopper marketing programs within the Military and Specialty sectors. Additionally, this individual supports the Business Development team in acquiring new customers. They will lead the execution of shopper marketing initiatives that align with Red Bull's brand identity, address shopper needs, and balance both brand and customer priorities. Utilizing insights to convert shoppers into buyers, the Shopper Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager to craft programs ranging from standardized channel initiatives to custom retail-driven shopper activations. These efforts aim to strategically align brand and retailer objectives while positioning Red Bull uniquely with both retailers and shoppers. In essence, this role strengthens Red Bull's presence across multiple channels by amplifying brand impact and providing revenue-generating solutions to retail challenges.

This role is hybrid in-office 4 days a week.

Job Description

BUILD THE BRAND AT RETAIL

Responsible for developing and executing Shopper Marketing programs, including generic, retailer-specific, and Red Bull-branded initiatives.

Collaborates with internal and external media teams and agencies to create program materials, ensuring alignment with Red Bull's brand standards.

Transforms brand assets and initiatives into effective Shopper Marketing campaigns.

Develops creative and impactful messaging tailored to the Military and Specialty Retail landscapes.

Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and timely delivery of in-store visibility materials and point-of-sale (POS) items.

Engages with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consumers view Red Bull as a prominent, relevant, and premium product and brand.

DEVELOP AND EXECUTE PREMIUM RETAIL PROGRAMS

Executes customer-specific strategic initiatives and annual programs targeting Military & Specialty Customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.

Assumes full responsibility for the execution of programming for Military & Specialty customers, ensuring the seamless implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Develops and implements a comprehensive suite of programming for the channel and customers, ranging from turnkey, scalable solutions to groundbreaking and innovative approaches. This includes creating sales materials as well as program launch and recap resources for the organization.

Generates detailed programming recaps that emphasize key performance metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations for optimization.

Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on execution strategies and deliverables, driving accountability and achieving desired outcomes.

Works closely with internal teams to address executional challenges, streamline workflows, and promote continuous improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Utilizes consumer and shopper insights to identify trends and opportunities that will influence the future direction of Military & Specialty Shopper Marketing.

MAXIMIZE REACH, PURCHASE POTENTIAL AND ROI

Manages a comprehensive multi-pronged measurement strategy for Military and Specialty customers, encompassing custom Deep Dive research, holistic program recaps, Shopper Spotlight presentations, After Action Reviews, and Annual Learning Plans.

Analyzes retail program performance metrics and consumer behavior data to identify opportunities for optimization and broader reach.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies designed to maximize the purchase potential of retail programs, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, sales objectives, and customer preferences.

Evaluates the return on investment (ROI) of retail programs through detailed analysis of sales data, cost-effectiveness, brand goals, and market trends, making recommendations for adjustments to enhance performance.

Continuously seeks innovative strategies and monitors emerging trends in retail marketing to maintain competitive advantage and drive greater engagement and reach.

Builds and nurtures partnerships with retail stakeholders to leverage their expertise and resources in improving the effectiveness and scope of retail initiatives.

Implements tracking mechanisms and performance measurement tools to monitor the reach and impact of retail programs, delivering regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Ensures seamless alignment with key internal stakeholders, maintaining consistency in messaging across all initiatives.

Demonstrates a deep understanding of the customer's Shopper Marketing capabilities and identifies vendor partners best suited to deliver on shared business objectives.

CUSTOMER VENDOR & AGENCY MANAGEMENT

Serves as the primary liaison for Customer vendors and executional agencies

Manages relationships with vendors and external partners, overseeing contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and deliverable quality

Coordinates cross-functional project teams to execute initiatives on time and within budget, ensuring clear communication, resource allocation, and milestone tracking

Monitors vendor performance metrics and KPIs, proactively addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain service excellence and achieve business goals

WIN WITHIN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Utilizes customer research and insights to identify synergies between brands and retailers.

Recognizes brand assets and marketing initiatives that can be leveraged to generate excitement and relevance among new customers.

Ensures consistency and adherence to brand standards across all proposed branding and marketing activation assets, while working within established guidelines and standards.

Collaborates with the sales team and contribute to new business pitches.

Maintains and updates the business development playbook and retail segment sell sheets.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment, preferably within Sales, Brand, or Shopper Marketing.

Field experience is considered a strong advantage.

Proficient in project management with a solution-oriented mindset and strong skills in cross-functional collaboration, demonstrating the ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver tasks on time.

Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity and a proven track record of elevating projects to achieve maximum success.

Adept at transforming insights into actionable strategies.

Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working within or alongside the military community a plus

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,360 - $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
