Job Summary

IMI is seeking a full-time Regional Division Project Manager local to the Athens, GA area.

Essential Functions

The Regional Divisional Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations within a designated geographic region, including managing sales, developing regional strategies, monitoring financial performance, ensuring compliance with company practices and policies with Safety being top priority, and driving business growth within an area by developing and maintaining customer needs.

  • Safety Initiative: Cultivate a positive SAFETY culture throughout the entire division.
  • Sales leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Identify opportunities within the region, analyze competitor activity and champion the company's position in the region.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, project manager performance and identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train and mentor team members.  Evaluate performance and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.  Address customer concerns and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop plans, set goals and align strategies with overall company objectives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred or 5 years of experience in Industrial project management.
  • Minimum of three years’ work experience in Industrial Contracting.
  • OSHA 30 required; must obtain within 60 days of hire date.
  • Proven experience in people management and a commitment to industrial safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity needed for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipment.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 5-10% of the time.
