The work you do will have a direct impact on beauty, as you optimize processes, strengthen operational consistency, and help stores perform at their very best. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and field leaders who are united in beauty and equally passionate about operational excellence, innovation, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive the development and optimization of tools, resources, and operational processes that support store efficiency, profitability, and consistency across Sephora Canada.
  • Enhance key areas of the business including operational workload and payroll management, supply chain processes, shop profit controllables, operational policies, and backstage standards.
  • Partner with District Managers and Regional Directors to identify opportunities for improvement across regions and districts, with a focus on process effectiveness, expense control, and team development.
  • Support Store Leadership Teams with actionable guidance on controllable expense optimization to help achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with US New Store Opening teams to ensure alignment across North American processes while adapting programs to meet local business needs.
  • Create and deliver impactful training tools and learning sessions that strengthen operational knowledge and build consistency across the field.
  • Facilitate operational training for new District Managers, Store Directors, and Operations Managers, as well as lead sessions at District and Regional Meetings.
  • Identify inefficient or non-value-added processes and provide recommendations to cross-functional partners, with a focus on payroll and operational efficiencies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Logistics and Distribution teams to support store delivery schedules and drive ongoing operational improvements.
  • Contribute to additional strategic projects that advance the goals of the Business Operations & Optimization team.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail operations, with a strong track record of improving efficiency, optimizing processes, and delivering results; multi-store leadership experience is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train, facilitate meetings, and build effective partnerships across teams.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required to support the Eastern market.
  • Confidence in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial data to support operational and business decisions.
  • Comfort reviewing store-level financial reporting, including P&L statements, dashboards, Smart Reporting, inventory management, and other FSC reports.
  • Agility in navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and adapting in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel out of the city up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
