WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operational Specialist to join our Store Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operational communication and execution across Ardene's store teams. You will be responsible for managing key tools and processes that ensure stores have the information, resources, and support needed to deliver a seamless customer and employee experience.

Reporting to the Operational Excellence and Development Manager, the Operational Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and support operational projects, managing timelines and ensuring initiatives are executed on schedule.
  • Prepare and distribute store communications including weekly memos and operational updates.
  • Support the weekly Store Operations newsletter with key updates such as promotions, price changes, OMNI KPIs, and loyalty initiatives.
  • Maintain operational resources and documentation within internal platforms including the Document Centre, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Build and manage digital tools and surveys (GoCanvas, SurveyMonkey) to support store operations, feedback, and compliance tracking.
  • Conduct store visits to assess operational execution, gather feedback, and support consistent implementation of company standards.
  • Compile and organize store expense reporting and assist with financial documentation and year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, HR, and Finance to support operational initiatives and communication.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field;
  • Must be bilingual (English and French), written and spoken;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well strong typing skills;
  • Experience with GoCanvas and Survey Monkey a plus;
  • Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days per week.
