Extraco Banks is seeking a Treasury Management Consultant to join our organization in Frisco, TX. Extraco provides a robust range of cash management tools and electronic services to help businesses maximize earnings while managing their cash flow. The Treasury Management Consultant will serve retail and commercial bankers as a direct consultant for all Extraco Treasury Management products and services.
Summary:
Apply broad based knowledge and skills to provide for the customers’ Bank and Financial Group products and services. Identify and qualify the needs of customers. Deliver a superior customer experience and work to assure customer loyalty to Extraco products and services. Work to retain and solidify customer relationships while expanding existing and new customer relationships. Deliver strong community visibility.
Experience:
5+ years of Bank Treasury Sales experience
Knowledge requirements, i.e. skills, abilities, personal characteristics:
Strong customer service skills, highly motivated, sales mindset, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to changing internal and external environments, ability to lead, in depth knowledge of treasury management products, understanding of financial regulations, compliance and industry standards, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Acquire, expand, and retain bank customers through the sale and implementation of Treasury Management products, RFP's, and referrals to other lines of business. Work to assess customer’s current treasury practices, identify pain points, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness through the use of TMS products. TMS products include ACH, Positive Pay, Wires, Remote Capture, Repurchase Agreements, Merchant Services, and card products.
  • Collaborate with commercial lending team to grow bank deposits and fee income through treasury solutions for commercial customers. Collaboration includes meeting with customers and making joint calls with the lending team personnel. Also includes educating co-workers on products and services and how to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with treasury products. Must also develop a thorough understanding of the bank deposit products and be an expert on account analysis.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the banks online banking platform in order to assist customers with their daily usage of the platform. Also responsible for understanding and troubleshooting with vendors the various TMS products and their integration with the online banking platform.
  • Conduct annual reviews of top customer relationships. Identify needs of the customer and promote other business lines of the bank to include commercial, residential, personal loans, insurance, and wealth management.
  • Stay current with banking regulations to ensure customer’s treasury practices are compliant. Also responsible for staying informed of new products, trends, and technology in the external environment that will allow bank to stay competitive.
  • Lead and manage TMS assistant in assisting with TMS product sales and services and growing their knowledge of TMS.
  • Develop sales initiatives to meet production and servicing goals. Collaborate with clients to design and implement customized cash management strategies.
  • Provide superior customer service to all bank customers and bank employees including implementation and training of TMS products and services.
  • Receive and manage referrals to the TMS department in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and agreements. Generate KPI reports showing results as requested.
  • Be active in local organizations within the community in order to expand relationships.
Education:
Bachelor's degree with Business emphasis preferred. CTP designation is a plus.
