Job description

Jeni’s is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Retail Analytics & Forecasting Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for leading the forecasting and demand planning process across all of our channels, Retail (Grocery, Natural, Mass, etc.), DTC and Scoop Shops. While also supporting ice cream allocations to our Scoop Shops.

This position requires both the art and science of forecasting—blending data, intuition, and cross-functional collaboration to drive accurate demand plans in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is not a purely system-driven role; success requires strong business judgment, an understanding of trade dynamics, and the ability to continuously refine forecasts based on real-world performance.


The ideal candidate is data-driven, insights-obsessed, and a highly collaborative problem solver. This is a critical cross-functional role working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance. The right person will be able to clearly communicate insights, challenge assumptions, and build strong, data-backed support for decisions.


A background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is preferred, along with a strong working knowledge of allocation and S&OP processes is required.

The Retail Analytics & Forecasting Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Formalize and Lead a monthly S&OP Process that will create consensus on a forecast and trade planning with our Sales team

  • Have a working knowledge of Demand Forecasting with the ability to translate it into the Modus System

  • Directly manage the relationship with our system provider (Modus). This includes the maintenance of Modus (ie. Seasonality inputs, pricing changes, etc.), being the expert on the tool and teaching others best practices

  • Develop reporting tools

  • Partner with Sales to assess trade effectiveness, optimize customer plans, and inform future strategy. Make recommendations and ask questions

  • Support annual planning processes with bottoms-up customer analysis and scenario modeling

  • Identify learning opportunities as shipments actualize with the goal of a more accurate forecast

  • Partner to support Ice Cream Allocations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, data analytics, or supply chain or similar work experience

  • 3-5 years of demand forecasting experience

  • Experience in or comfort with fast-paced, high-growth companies

  • Understanding of retail and trade math, including pricing structures (ie. EDLC, OI, MCB).

  • Understanding of path to distribution through various methods ie. Direct ship to store, direct to retailers, through distributor networks (DSD and Cross Dock).

  • Consumer Packaged Good industry knowledge; Knowledge of syndicated data tools (Spins, Nielsen, IRI).

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills - ability to analyze and process data as well as communicate a clear, compelling story from that data.

  • Skill proficiency in Excel, a continuous improvement orientation, and the ability to enhance current processes

  • Modus or other trade and sales forecasting software experience

  • Intellectually curious and highly detail-oriented. A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
