Job Title: Project Manager

Overview:

We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-impact strategic initiatives across our organization. If you thrive on aligning people and processes and enjoy delivering projects that drive real business outcomes, this could be the perfect fit.

A Day in the Life:

You’ll own the project life cycle—building detailed project plans, aligning resources, managing timelines and budgets, and driving results. You’ll partner with internal teams and third-party vendors, keeping stakeholders informed every step of the way. This is an exciting role that allows you to learn key processes and technology systems in all areas of German American Bank while positively impacting project success and employee moral.

Travel Required:

Up to 50% depending on your location in the German American footpring.

What it Takes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, scope, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points:
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
