Job description

Grand Central Mall is seeking a creative, organized, and outgoing Promotions Assistant to support the mall’s marketing, events, and community engagement efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in public relations, social media, event planning, and retail marketing. The Promotions Assistant will help bring mall events and promotions to life in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a seasonal, part-time role.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Create, update, and place mall signage and promotional materials
  • Promote mall events, retailer news, and special offers across social media platforms and the mall website
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, setup, and execution of mall events and promotions

Your Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Outgoing, professional, and comfortable interacting with shoppers, retailers, vendors, and community partners
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new software, systems, and marketing tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; social media content creation experience is a plus
