What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a retail design consultant?

To thrive as a Retail Design Consultant, you need a solid background in interior design or architecture, strong visual merchandising skills, and a relevant degree or certification. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is typically required, along with familiarity with project management tools. Throughout the redesign process, they coordinate feedback, address operational needs, and ensure that aesthetic improvements support an efficient and engaging shopping experience.
