TITLE: Sr. Director, Integrated Channel Strategies
Duties: Leads high value business strategy initiatives to design, measure and refine Resurgent's customer-facing collection strategies across channels subject to maximize revenue and drive positive outcomes subject to channel cost. This includes low-cost digital channels such as email, SMS, chat, and direct voicemail, as well as higher cost channels such as letters and phone calls. Manages and mentors a team of business-minded strategy analysts, guiding career development and driving team expansion, including hiring, and integrating new roles. Fosters a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team. Maintains the prioritization and oversight of projects using agile methodologies, fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement. Maintains high oversight over Resurgent's key performance indicators and success metrics in a competitive landscape. Benchmarks work intensity and performance outcomes with competitors in the marketplace, identifying behavioral differences and opportunities to fine tune strategies. Leverages expertise in A/B testing and data analysis to evaluate and refine business strategies. Partners with Digital Operations to implement and evaluate campaign experiments. Regularly engages with senior leadership, effectively communicating complex strategies and quantifying their business impacts. Develops key business relationships and evaluates strategy execution effectiveness within the Contact Center, initiating regular discussions to identifies opportunities for advancement and achieve. Develops and maintains product knowledge of the campaign platform utilized to send customer communications, customer portal event activity, and agent-assisted systems. Develops and maintains knowledge of data pipeline and data curation critical to evaluating business strategy success. Maintains knowledge of global risk points associated with the financial and collections industry, as well as internal policies related to risk management.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
LOCATION: Resurgent Capital Services, L.P., 355 South Main Street, Suite 300, Greenville, SC 29601
REQUIREMENTS:
Main Education and Experience: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Statistics or a related quantitative field and five (5) years of experience as an Business Analyst, (all levels) Strategy Analyst or closely related occupation.
Special Skills: Also requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
  • Querying in SQL-based languages (SSMS, SparkSQL) and working with large datasets (>10M records).
  • Cloud-based platforms such as DataBricks for data analytics and artificial intelligence, including generative AI or other machine learning models.
  • Utilizing data visualization tools such as (PowerBI, Tableau) to convey complex data relationships at-a-glance.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment, agile, source control).
  • Using A/B testing methodologies and data analysis to implement and evaluate the financial impact of campaign performance through experiments.
  • Presenting business cases for new strategies to senior leadership, quantifying expected ROI using existing data sets and performance.
  • Collections and credit/banking industries.
