Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in industrial robots.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
• Program and re-program robots for various manufacturing tasks.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robotic processes and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming and operating industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance and inspection.
• Familiarity with various robot programming languages beyond teach pendant operation (e.g., Python, C++ for advanced applications).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrating robots with broader automation systems.
• Certification in a specific robot brand (e.g., FANUC CERT, Yaskawa Motoman Certified).
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their unique safety considerations.
