Job Description
Job Summary
Basic Functions:
  • Perform as a technician as work flow dictates.
  • Supervises and responds to all activities of emergency services work related to assigned program work and tasks assigned by Operations Manager
  • Schedules and supervise projects assigned, to successful completion.
  • This Project Coordinator role is a developmental role and functions may be added over time.
  • The Project Coordinator will be expected to take on more responsibility in due time based upon their desire, initiative & performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Overall Duties Include:
  • Backbone of the emergency services divisions’ field presence
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Transfer and act on direction from Project Coordinator into physical production
  • Work side-by-side with other Restoration Technicians to deliver a quality service on time
  • Communication with property managers/owners
  • Collection of field related documentation for emergency services
  • Performs any and all directives from the Senior Emergency Services Technician.
  • Responds to emergency losses.
  • Performs Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services.
  • Assists in Emergency Fire/Smoke Services (including deodorization, pack-outs, board- ups and securing structure).
  • Assists in Mold Remediation (including demolition and cleaning).• Participate on-call rotation as needed.
  • Trained to perform services and supervise tasks in absence of SEMT.
  • Performs basic truck, equipment and building maintenance.
  • Follows established safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.
  • Participate in the collection process
  • Collection of all paperwork required on each job (Authorization forms, sketches, Material forms, labor forms, scope sheets, and any other paperwork that is requested by our direct programs)
  • Arrive on time
  • Internal talent development of Restoration Technicians
  • Manage good use of company supplies and minimize waste
  • Maintain company equipment to ensure longevity
High Detail Job Accountabilities:
  • Receive a physical Work Order at beginning of job or from project coordinator and then interpret instructions and deliver a high quality physical result
  • Document work completed through photos, job update notes and daily logs.
  • Drive company vehicle in safest and most respectful manner possible
  • Alert Project Coordinator of any vehicle disturbances (Oil changes, check engine light, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness of each vehicle used that day be the standards set by Paul Davis
  • Relay homeowner or property manager questions to Project Coordinator to follow up with
  • Disassemble and safely store all hardware from demolition in designated plastic bags for reconstruction team
  • Disassemble and safely store all pieces of demolition that are deemed as “salvageable”
  • List soft materials needed on the job-site physical Job Materials List, confirm the list with Project Coordinator at the end of each job over the phone
Qualifications and Skills
Basic Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • General Labor Experience
  • Restoration Experience is a plus
  • Dependable transportation
  • Cell phone
Hours:
  • A typical shift for this position is 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
  • However, the Restoration Technician must be able to contribute to the on-call rotation for weekdays and weekends.
