Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Converts leads into sales, develops scope of work and manages project including directly staff on job site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Due to the nature of restoration work, must be available to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner. This includes being available anytime to help the Restoration Department's response to an emergency.

· Ensures any certification required is obtained and current.

· Follows established control systems, completing all paperwork, computer entries, etc. in a timely manner and up to department standards.

· Markets to appropriate sources of business as directed by Restoration Manager (RM)/ General Manager (GM).

· Determines feasibility of work, based on insurance coverage and nature of damage

· Manages assigned projects and performs necessary physical production activities.

· Inspects job site to establish the initial scope of work, confirms with insured and adjuster and arranges access to job.

· Determines the need for subcontractors, schedules directly with customer and confirms with

· Recruits and qualifies subcontractors.

· Provides complete written scope of work along with any supporting pictures or diagrams to RM / GM.

· Provides written changes in work scope to RM / GM

· Takes job measurements and notes for invoicing

· Secures signed work authorization prior to commencing work

· Fields customer questions and concerns

· Develops Work In Progress (WIP) report for Active Projects

· Invoices all variety of projects including but not limited to fire, water, mold and asbestos

· Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality.

· Attend training meetings as required.

OTHER DUTIES:

· All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent experience and training

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts (i.e. discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.)

· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

· Ability to recognize and rectify problems

· Technical skills in insurance repair and restoration required

· Minimum of 3 - 5 years' work experience in restoration services.

· Expert knowledge of restoration practices and equipment

· Outside sales experience helpful

· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

· Proven customer service skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Proven negotiation skills

· Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier
