Reservationist / Office Administrator
Èlephante - Santa Monica, CA
Èlephante is seeking a highly organized and professional Reservationist / Office Administrator to support our restaurant operations and guest services at our Santa Monica location.
This role plays a key part in ensuring an exceptional guest experience before guests even arrive. The position combines guest-facing reservations responsibilities with administrative and office support for the restaurant management team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable communicating with guests in a hospitality-driven, high-volume environment.
Reservationist Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage reservation requests and assist guests with booking questions
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability, policies, and large party reservations
  • Address guest concerns and route issues to the appropriate management team when necessary
  • Assist with coordinating and confirming large party and group dining reservations
  • Maintain accurate reservation records within OpenTable
Office Administrator Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete contracts for prix fixe parties and group dining reservations
  • Track and document contracts and reservation details using Excel spreadsheets
  • Print restaurant and event menus as needed
  • Maintain organized office files, documentation, and administrative systems
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory
  • Provide general administrative support to the restaurant management team
