Job Description

Chick-fil-A Montrose Crossing and Westfield Montgomery Mall is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Director to join our team. As an Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Execute the job description and responsibilities for the Team Member, Certified Trainer, and Shift Manager
  • Lead and oversee the coordination of all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Coach and develop the leaders of the restaurant so they are equipped to lead the team
  • Meet with the Shift Managers to discuss the business and create capacity in them
  • Assist the Director of Talent with training, development, increasing retention and creating a healthy staffing number
  • Strategize with the Marketing Director to increase sales and transactions through intentional promotions
  • Meet with the Director of Facilities to discuss proper care and cleaning of equipment in the restaurant.
  • Partner with the Director of Quality & Safety to ensure our service meets local, state, & Chick-fil-A regulations and our customer satisfaction
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance goal achievements and take corrective actions for any shortfalls.
  • Execute the Winning Hearts Everyday program 
  • Recommend and Assist in the preparation of the weekly work schedule
  • Analyze quarterly Customer Experience Monitor reports
  • Manage the Financial Health of the business by managing and controlling expenses
  • Streamline systems & processes
  • Prepare and revise the  Standard Operating Procedure when necessary to ensure its compliance with changes made in the restaurant or by Chick-fil-A Corporate
  • Develop performance-oriented goals and accountability among FOH team members and Shift Managers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant operations, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
