Job description

Chick-fil-A in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a passionate and driven marketing professional to grow total restaurant sales. This role will ambassador the Chick-fil-A brand in the community, collaborate with the local Owner/Operator and corporate Marketing Consultant to devise sales strategy, and lead a small team to execute sales strategy.

This is a restaurant-based position with frequent local travel to partner and customer locations for meetings, deliveries, and events. Full or Part-Time work is available. In the case of a full-time position, up to 50% of hours will be supplemented with work in restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Cares for our community by stewarding existing relationships and growing new relationships with businesses, medical facilities, schools, and non-profits
  • Leads planning and execution of the restaurant sales strategy to grow total restaurant sales through increased transactions, check average, and growth in the catering channel
  • Manages Marketing budget by tracking monthly spend, including: discounts, offer redemptions, team wages, and marketing supplies
  • Develops and cares for a Marketing team to support catering, events, and social media by having ICNU conversation with those who exhibit warm hospitality and contagious energy
  • Leads menu rollout process by educating Leaders and Team Members, coordinating sampling efforts, and executing POP/Menu Board changes
  • Partners with the Front of House team to grow menu knowledge, suggestive selling, and other in-restaurant marketing behaviors
  • Manages Facebook / Instagram pages, responds to guest concerns and ensures content represents the brand and our store’s identity
  • Cares for Marketing team by giving timely feedback, regularly communicating and connecting personally
  • Partners with Operational Directors and Scheduler to communicate resource needs, specifically product and labor needs at least two weeks in advance of a marketing activity
  • Serves as point of contact for recurring catering orders / ADP’s and large catering orders. Coordinates a plan with Operational Directors.
  • Splits time with operations up to 50% of the time in FOH or BOH to help serve guests and to grow influence. 
  • Meets and actively communicates in weekly one-on-ones with the Operator or Senior Director
