Don Coqui Edgewater Is Now Hiring Restaurant Manager

Don Coqui is seeking a restaurant manager that demonstrates a passion for hospitality and dedication to customer service. Good communication skills are a must. Your working relationship with the entire staff is vital to the operation of the restaurant. You must be able to anticipate guest needs, as well as communicate those needs to your service staff. Many times, you will be asked to take care of the problem yourself.

Must have a positive attitude and be able to maintain that attitude in any situation. Due to the nature of our business, this position is required to work weekends and holidays.

As a restaurant manager, you are the head of a dining establishment. You will provide inspiring leadership to a team of workers that can motivate them to work harder and more effectively. You will ensure that patrons have a positive experience when dining in the restaurant.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.

The requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
